I installed it immediately and it works great, fits perfect and easily installed. Awesome experience March 19, 2018 Reviewer: Jim from Vista, CA United States   Alternator went out on my 6.0L Excursion and as a result I wanted to upgrade to a higher amp model.  The TAD 185 fit the bill and I called early on Tuesday to check stock, ordered and had the alternator on Friday.  Weekend plans were saved by the quick delivery. The only alternator I'm ever buying. April 30, 2017 Reviewer: Marvin from United States   I had heard about these, but I had no Idea. Perfect unit for the stock 6.0 Powerstroke!! June 29, 2015 Reviewer: Tommy Johnson from Rogers, AR United States   First of all, your customer service and order processing is absolutely top notch!! I didn't realize how bad my 6.0 Excursion was running until I got the TAD185 installed. The truck is running better, starts faster, shifting smoother and everything using power is functioning great again. The TAD185 is perfect for anyone with a stock 6.0 diesel and it doesn't require any cable upgrades to get the job done. Since my OEM alternator went down over time instead of dying all at once, I did a lot of research to find the best replacement alternator for a stock 6.0 and I can assure you this is the one. If you have a 6.0 and need to replace your alternator get one of the TAD 185's, you and your rig will be HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!! Was this review helpful to you?
